Q.Do my customers need an app?
No. Tapping the pad opens your survey straight in the phone’s browser — no app, no account, nothing to install on either side.
Q.How do the pads arrive?
Pre-coded and ready to place. We embed your survey and routing into every pad before it ships, so you simply peel the backing and stick it where guests will see it.
Q.How many pads should I order?
Most single-location venues run two to four — one at the counter, one or two on tables, sometimes one at the door or pickup shelf. Tell us your setup and we’ll suggest a number in your quote.
Q.Is leaving bad reviews off Google allowed?
TapRate never blocks anyone from posting. Guests can always go to Google directly. What the pad does is give unhappy customers an easy private channel to reach you first — so you can fix the issue rather than leave it unanswered in public.
Q.What if I move or rebrand?
Pads are reprogrammed remotely from your dashboard. Update the linked Google profile, business name or branding any time — no need to replace the hardware.
Q.Is there a contract?
The software is month-to-month and you can cancel anytime. The pads are a one-time purchase and stay yours regardless of your subscription.
